ANNOUNCEMENT!
Our Big Bus Hop-on Hop-on service will be changing to reservation-based tours on October 15th 2010 and will remain as such until April 15, 2011, when our open-top buses will come out of hibernation and our Hop-On Hop-Off service will resume for the summer season.
This is our answer to a more Eco-Friendly approach to winter operations - no unnecessary fuel usage means a smaller carbon footprint.
Our winter service will consist of 4 hour Vancouver City Highlights tours on our comfortable and cozy winter-equipped buses. We will need at least 2 days lead time to accommodate languages other than English. Big Bus team members will be available at the Big Bus Welcome Centre to serve guests throughout the winter season.

The Vancouver Aquarium consists of not only some of the biggest and best marine animals in Canada, but also an 'Amazon micro-ecosystem' with bugs, birds, lizards and other creepy crawlies. There's also a sloth to be seen if you can spot him in the trees crawling super slowly from branch to branch (try saying that fast ten times). During the summer schedule (June - September) there are countless daily activities for visitors to enjoy including dolphin shows, sea otter talks, Amazon critter corner and fish feeding activities. The talks and shows are free of charge for all aquarium guests and suitable for all ages. The aquarium usually hosts beluga shows as well, but since the recent birth of a new baby beluga, the shows are not running. You can, however, visit the baby in the beluga tank from above or underground.
Sea Turtles and Sea Lions also call the Vancouver Aquarium home. Get unbelievably close to some of nature's most amazing animals while you watch them feed, play and splash about. Nestled deep in the heart of Stanley Park, the Vancouver Aquarium is easily accessible from Big Bus stop #15.
