ANNOUNCEMENT!
Our Big Bus Hop-on Hop-on service will be changing to reservation-based tours on October 15th 2010 and will remain as such until April 15, 2011, when our open-top buses will come out of hibernation and our Hop-On Hop-Off service will resume for the summer season.
This is our answer to a more Eco-Friendly approach to winter operations - no unnecessary fuel usage means a smaller carbon footprint.
Our winter service will consist of 4 hour Vancouver City Highlights tours on our comfortable and cozy winter-equipped buses. We will need at least 2 days lead time to accommodate languages other than English. Big Bus team members will be available at the Big Bus Welcome Centre to serve guests throughout the winter season.

Up and Around Tour - Big Bus Vancouver Tour with Vancouver Lookout Admission
Sightseeing At Another Level
Guests are whisked up to the observation deck which towers (130 meters) 430 feet above street level where they enjoy a spectacular 360º view of the downtown core, Vancouver harbour, the coast mountains and beyond. There is also a rotating restaurant located at the top of the Harbour Centre for people who want to enjoy fine food and fabulous views. From the observation deck visitors can visually map out their Big Bus adventure from above. Located right in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the Vancouver Lookout at the Harbour Centre is the perfect place to start or end your Big Bus experience. Some of the most spectacular views can be had in the evening during summertime when the skies are clear and the city lights are brightly twinkling. The Lookout is open late, until 10:30pm during the high-season months (April to October) to offer visitors a beautiful nighttime bird's eye view of the neighboring high-rises and harbour port below. Not only can you take in the landmarks and city life, but also the transient cruise ships that take shelter in Vancouver's harbour and bring hundreds of thousands of tourists to our beautiful city (if you are one, Welcome!).
Located only steps from Big Bus stop #2, the Vancouver Lookout at Harbour Centre is a convenient, unique and memorable way to take in the sights of downtown Vancouver. The Vancouver Lookout Tour is also affordable when paired with a Big Bus Tour. A complete adult pass is $49 and children are only $23 (students and seniors fall in between). This tour is the perfect package for a family looking to see the sights of Vancouver from a whole new level. |

Neil Armstrong knows a thing or two about reaching new heights. Not only was he the first man on the moon, he also opened the Vancouver Lookout at Harbour Centre in 1977. Offering some of the best views you can get without soaring out of our solar system, the Vancouver Lookout gives us planetary people a bird's eye view of what our city and the local scenery looks like from 430 feet above the ground.
